In logistics, we have now managed to ship the large number of jumbo orders. Many thanks to everyone involved!
Last week we had a lot of orders in Hall B. There was a peak of more than 2,500 orders that had to be processed.
We realised early on that we would not be able to do the work with overtime alone. We quickly decided to work in two shifts in Hall B.
We hired two additional temporary employees. After a few changes, we found the right people and were able to get started.
The pressure on our employees was high. More jumbo orders kept coming in. The permanent employees had to help the temporary employees in addition to their own work. Despite this additional workload, our team stayed on the ball. Everyone did their best.
We achieved very good results and achieved very good pick values. All backlogged orders have been caught up. We are currently working on orders that have to be delivered today. We are up to date again! Jumbo can come!
