New data protection law from 1 September 2023

We have a new data protection law in Switzerland, known as the DSG for short. The law helps protect our personal information. It comes into force on September 1, 2023.

For the Steinemann Group, the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG) means that we now have to pay even greater attention to protecting the information we receive from our customers and partners. There are clear rules about how we may collect, store, and use this data. This ensures that privacy is respected. It is important that we adhere to these rules to ensure responsible and trustworthy use of data.

Marco Biser is responsible for implementing data protection law within the Steinemann Group. He will explain the precise process for handling personal data. This includes how we collect, store, protect, and use data. Marco will ensure that all employees are trained to properly understand and comply with data protection regulations. He will also be the contact person for questions or concerns regarding data protection and ensure that we always act in accordance with the law.

The people whose data is collected and processed now have more rights than before. For example, an individual can request that a company release or delete the personal data processed about them.

For this reason, we have set up a special email address to which such requests can be sent: privacy@steinemanngroup.com .

If you receive a privacy-related inquiry, please forward it to this email address. Marco will then respond.
