In the years 2020 to the end of 2022, many employees of Steinemann AG were less sick or were absent less due to non-work-related accidents. That is why Steinemann AG received a refund from our sickness benefit insurance. Many companies keep such a refund for themselves because there is no obligation to pay it out. But we want to be fair. We distribute the employee share to the employees of Steinemann AG.
The prerequisite is that they were absent on average for less than 3 days per year due to illness or accident during this time. Those who receive a refund will be informed in August. Payment will be made with the August payroll run.
Our goal is to raise awareness of health in our company. If employees are absent, it costs us and the insurance company a lot of money. We want to reward those who have rarely been absent in the last three years. We also take individual working hours into account in order to distribute them fairly.
