Last year (2022) was a tough year for most pension funds. Ours, FUTURA, also lost a lot of its reserves (but always had enough money).
This year, FUTURA was able to really step on the gas again: it was able to build up reserves again. And it has money available again with which it can pay interest on our savings. More than it should.
That’s why I’m looking forward to FUTURA’s “early Christmas present”: retirement savings will earn 2.5% interest in 2023.
PS: According to the law, a pension fund must pay interest of at least 1%.
